What is not allowed:
An arrangement may never be copied! There are however exceptions. Please contact stichting Musi©py (this group will organise the additional copies). An automatic anti-copy label will be incorporated into the arrangement; this label is designed to discolour when copied.

How do I know if a song is difficult or easy?
That is always difficult to judge. Something which is difficult for one person can be easy for another. We pride ourselves on having a high level of experience within choirs and pop groups which makes it possible for us to know what peoples capabilities are. Our arrangements are, generally speaking easy accessible. We try to keep to the original version as much as possible whilst also bearing in mind that the arrangement must be performed by amateurs. For that reason there are two piano levels. The advanced part is as the pianist plays in the original; the moderated part is easy-playable en therefore less complicated. Each arrangement comes with its own level of difficulty (eg. 5-7 weeks rehearsal time).
The rhythms often look difficult on ChorusOnline.
Correct, this is a deliberate choice. We arrange pieces as sung by the artist. Listen to the recording, sing along, and youll pick the rhythm up quickly.
I would like ChorusOnline to arrange a song, is this possible?
Yes, but:
1) the rights must be organised beforehand by ChorusOnline.
2) we will first check if there is demand for this song within other choirs/pop groups.
3) you can always have an arrangement tailormade by using our contact form. In doing this we will need to invoice a slightly different price.
Why are the practice mp3's not vocal?
It is possible to hear a MIDI (computer sample) for every vocal group. This is the sound of a clarinet, clearly in the middle with the rest of the choir/accompaniment softly in the background.
We have chosen for this method because:
1) ....the process of singing all parts of all our catalogue by professionals is a costly one.
2) ....studying the lyrics is made easier when you are required to read the words for yourself.
3) ....you have the possibility to model the melody; when working with files where the lyrics are already recorded it becomes very difficult as musical director to give a piece your own interpretation.
4) ....a clarinet sound has a good attack; rhythm is always sharp and the tone resounds longer (as compared to a piano sample).
5) ....samples are always perfectly in tune.
We bought an arrangement for 0-20 members. Our group has been growing since that moment; what can we do?
We can adjust the PDF-files to your actual situation. We'll have to ask a small fee for this service. Please do contact our administration: support@chorusonline.com
