Lyrics
Verse 1
Some say love it is a river that drowns the tender reed.
Some say love it is a razor that leaves your soul to bleed.
Some say love it is a hunger,an endless aching need.
I say love it is a flower and you its only seed.
Verse 2
It's the heart afraid of breaking that never learns to dance.
It's the dream afraid of waking that never takes the chance.
It's the one who won't be taken who cannot seem to give,
and the soul, afraid of dyin'that never learns to live.
Verse 3
When the night has been too lonely and the road has been too long,
and you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong,
just remember in the winter far beneath the bitter snows
lies the seed that with the sun's love in the spring becomes the rose.

What other choirs say about ChorusOnline
100% legal sheet music
ChorusOnline has been working honestly and professionally from the start (2008).
Honest because we work with the permission of the copyrights holders. We are assisted by BINGH lawyers in Amsterdam, specialized in copyright.
Professional because we only work with highly trained arrangers who have years of experience. In addition, each arrangement is checked by both the ChorusOnline team and the copyrights holder. So we can guarantee the highest possible quality.
Copyright Act and linking to copyrights holders
Arranging and selling (making public) of arrangements is prohibited without the permission of the copyrights holders. This is described in article 1 of the Copyright Act
You can download the English version of the Copy Right Act here.
Our high-tech payment system is linked to the copyrights holders. At the moment of payment, the copyrights holder (the artist) receives his/her royalties within a few seconds and you, our customer, a legal package (PDF + MP3). Our packages have been put together with the greatest care and are approved by the copyrights holder.
Costs and your choice.
This all means that, due to royalties, we are probably a bit more expensive than other providers/arrangers. If an arrangement is offered cheaper by someone else, you can be almost certain that it is an illegal arrangement that is duping our team of professionals.
More and more choirs worldwide appreciate our approach and therefore choose legal sheet music via ChorusOnline. We rely on the same approach during the ordering process: honestly indicate the amount of choir members, you will sing with a better feeling. In this way, our team can continue to enlarge our beautiful legal choir catalogue.
Kind Regards
